This extended workshop will present methods that can be used to engage diverse communities as participants for arts and culture, as well as how to promote productions and continue building the relationships into the future. Ms. Walker-Kuhne will offer strategies as to how to invite, engage and partner with culturally diverse populations and embrace those populations into the fabric of arts and culture in the local community. She will present her 10 tools for building audiences in a strategic model for reaching multicultural communities and young audiences.

She is an accomplished arts administrator and adult educator who has devoted her professional career to increasing the accessibility and connection to the arts by our nation’s rapidly growing multicultural population.
