Cost Effective Event Liability Insurance
Through TPS' partnership with Fractured Atlas, TPS members now have access to cost effective event liability insurance. This partnership allows current TPS members to receive a free 'Associate Membership' with Fractured Atlas. In turn, your Fractured Atlas membership will allow you to purchase liability insurance to cover arts-related events. Thanks to an Emerging Artists Fund risk-pooling program, this coverage is available at significantly lower rates than would otherwise be possible.
How Much Does it Cost?
Each event must be individually underwritten by the insurance company, so we can't guarantee a particular rate in advance. However, we can report that to date, policies for events with a combined projected attendance of about 800 or fewer have been about $375 (the minimum quote). This figure is for the duration of the entire event, not just a single day or performance.
