Freehold Theatre is a Studio/Lab located in Belltown that has been providing extraordinary theatrical productions and unrivaled training for artists for over 17 years. Classes are open to students 18 years of age and older and include Acting, Improvisation, Directing, Playwriting, Shakespeare, Voice, Movement, Stage Combat and many more. Shunpike’s mission is to strengthen the Seattle arts community by partnering with small and mid-size arts groups to develop the business tools they need to succeed. We help solve problems quickly and impart vital skills in finance, organizational management and arts administration. The Field Seattle is a bare-bones, artist-run organization that focuses on providing performing artists and writers (at any stage of their career) with the opportunity to 1) present their work(s)-in-development to a group of peer artists 2) receive constructive feedback on their work(s), and 3) develop their own skills in observation and feedback. Ten-week long performing and writing sessions, which consist of weekly showings and often include a final showing, happen three times during the year: in the summer, fall, and winter/spring. The Field is a Partner Artist of The Shunpike.
