Patti Kalles is a CSA Casting Director for commercial, film and print for the pass 25 yrs. Patti has her degree in Drama from WSU and taught Drama in the public schools before casting. She teaches a 2 day intensive audition workshop which is for beginners as well as advanced actors(14-adults). It focuses is on the audition process. All aspects of the business such as marketing and the different types of auditions you will encounter are covered in this class. She does not teach you acting but how to make use of your own acting ability that you already possess. Her style is unique to her process. There are also classes for children 5-13 yrs old. The same techniques are used but geared to that age.

The Shunpike strengthens the Seattle arts community by partnering with artists to more effectively present and distribute their work. Specifically, we work with small and mid-size performance groups to help them build capacity. We fundraise, assemble boards of directors, provide 501 (c)(3) fiscal sponsorship, design and host websites, and provide bookkeeping and accounting services.

YTN is theatre for youth performed by youth. We serve all children between the ages of 3-18. We have an extensive educational theatre program as well as producing 5 shows a year. We employ talented area artists to serve as educators and mentors to the children enrolled in our programs!

The Field Seattle is a bare-bones, artist-run organization that focuses on providing performing artists and writers (at any stage of their career) with the opportunity to 1) present their work(s)-in-development to a group of peer artists 2) receive constructive feedback on their work(s), and 3) develop their own skills in observation and feedback. Ten-week long performing and writing sessions, which consist of weekly showings and often include a final showing, happen three times during the year: in the summer, fall, and winter/spring.
