Seattle Playwrights Salon is a playwrights' center which highlights and nurtures new works by northwest playwrights. Providing free, regularly scheduled staged readings of new plays to the public, Seattle Playwrights Salon provides the opportunity for developmental conversations between artists and audiences.

Founded in October 2016, Seattle Playwrights Salon is a playwrights' center with monthly staged readings of new plays curated by Margaret O'Donnell and Ashley Arai. Staged readings are presented at The Palace Art and Theatre Bar in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month.
The Salon is one of the only free, regularly scheduled public space in Seattle where playwrights and actors can bring new plays in development to the public, followed by conservation among audience, playwrights, and actors.
