MISSION STATEMENT

Olympia Family Theater offers accessible children's theater and programs that entertain and educate while stimulating dialogue and personal growth for young people, their families, and the wider community.

MORE ABOUT THEATRE

We are in our seventh season in Olympia, with a primary mission of providing theater for young audiences. We present 5 shows per season, including one musical, one for older audiences, and one with an all youth cast. We have strong community support, and hope to develop in to a semi-professional theater. Our shows are produced in black box theaters in two local venues. We have our own "Playspace" where we hold rehearsals, our educational programs, and house our business office, costumes, and props.

We currently offer classes for children during school vacations,on-site after school programs, and have launched a school touring program. We are committed to offering tickets to under served populations and hope our touring program will reach children who would otherwise be unlikely to attend live theater with their families.
