Theatre Puget Sound is dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion in arts and administration.
We are proud to let you know about Intiman Theatre Festival’s answer to our community’s desire to experience bold, diverse voices on our Seattle stages. This summer and fall you have the opportunity to see the manifestation of Intiman Theatre Festival’s partnership with Valerie Curtis-Newton and The Hansberry Project. The festival will include nearly 20 workshops, readings, an emerging artists showcase, training programs, and two major productions by Lydia R. Diamond (Stick Fly) and Alice Childress (Wedding Band: A Love/Hate Story in Black and White). Intiman Theatre Festival is a chance to experience great American plays by Black women in Seattle. Rise up for bold theatre!
