The American Society For Theatre Research, the Theatre Library Association and the Congress On Research In Dance have a joint national conference in November and are looking for submissions from both academics and practitioners. The conference is here in Seattle in November and the theme is Embodying Power: Work Over Time. They encourage applicants to “consider the generative possibilities of clusters of words like power, movement, mass, gravity” and the collisions of these words in a “‘Newtonian’ universe of dance-theatre.” Submissions must be received by February 1.
