As part of our WholeLife programming, Theatre Puget Sound is offering a free workshop on financial practices for artists. WholeLife is our commitment to helping artists move beyond surviving to thriving.
Financial Health 101- FREE
Monday, January 11, 2010
6:30 – 8:30 PM
Seattle Center, Center House Theatre
Lead by Justin Harris, Financial Advisor with KMS Financial Services, Inc.
This workshop will help you make a genuine shift in your relationship to money. First, we’ll review sound financial practices by examining all the essential building blocks: risk management (including medical insurance), budgeting, short-term savings, debt management, and investing for the long-term (retirement planning and saving for children’s college education). More important, we’ll look at the emotional dynamics underlying our approach to money. Neither panic or denial is of value when dealing with our finances! Instead, we’ll review strategies to prevent fear and lack of
knowledge from ruining our financial health.
This workshop is free, but you need to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
