The Field Seattle is a bare-bones, artist-run organization that focuses on providing performing artists and writers (at any stage of their career) with the opportunity to 1) present their work(s)-in-development to a group of peer artists 2) receive constructive feedback on their work(s), and 3) develop their own skills in observation and feedback. Ten-week long performing and writing sessions, which consist of weekly showings and often include a final showing, happen three times during the year: in the summer, fall, and winter/spring. The Field is a Partner Artist of The Shunpike.
