Seattle Area Stage Management Networking Event 2018

This Event will provide an opportunity for Seattle Area Stage Managers to meet with local Producers and Production Managers to share resumes and have critical face time together.  This Event is open to both AEA and Non-AEA Stage Managers, Assistant Stage Managers, and Production Assistants.

This event will have a “speed interview” format.  Stage Managers will sign up for a rotation session during which they will be guaranteed to meet for a few minutes with all of the theatres in attendance.  Each participant should reserve only one spot in one session.  Space is limited.

Monday—March 19, 2018

There will be three rotation sessions available; each of these sessions will accommodate 13 participants.

Session 1: 10:30a-12:00p
Session 2: 12:00p-1:30p
Session 3: 2:00p-3:30p

**An extra Session may be added if demand is high.  This Session would be from 3:30p-5:00p.

GETTING HERE: There are many bus lines that have stops around Seattle Center, and the Monorail from Westlake Center stops on the Center grounds.  There are 3 parking garages around the Center as well, but please allow time for parking/traffic.

ENTERING THE BUILDING: Please use the SCT Administrative entrance, on the East side of the building, facing the Space Needle. Other doors to the building will be locked. Enter the building and go up the few stairs to the Reception Area.  Our Receptionist will be able to buzz you thru the door that will lead you to the West Rehearsal Hall—simply follow the signage and yellow arrows up to the 2nd floor and the West Rehearsal Hall.

NOTE: Stage Managers should plan to bring at least 20 copies of their resume and if you are a member of AEA please plan to bring a valid AEA member ID.

If you are unable to attend this Event but would like to share your resume with the attending theatres, please send 20 copies of your resume to Seattle Children’s Theatre at 201 Thomas St, Seattle WA, 98109 ATTN Beth Spencer by March 12, 2018.
