Fantastic.Z Theatre is looking for designers for our 2018 season!

Here are the details for our 2018 main stage shows:

Five Lesbians Eating a Quiche by Andrew Hobgood and Evan Linder
Performs:  May 18th – June 2nd (Thursdays – Saturdays)
At: The Ballard Underground (2220 NW Market St, Seattle, WA 98107)

The Story:
In 1956, the widows of the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein meet in a renovated community center for their annual breakfast, where the prize-winning quiche will be declared in a much-anticipated ceremony. The sudden threat of an atomic bomb forces the women in this idyllic American town to begin sharing their deepest secrets, which lead to some not-so-shocking confessions from the society’s leaders.

Script: We’ve just ordered the scripts so we don’t have them uploaded yet, but for now here’s an excerpt of it from Samuel French:

Rehearsals start: April 2nd
Load-In: May 12th
Strike: June 3rd

Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England by Madeline George
Performs:  September 28th – October 13th (Thursdays – Saturdays)
At:  Inscape Arts and Cultural Center (815 Seattle Blvd S, Seattle, WA 98134)

The Story:
Dean Wreen is not having a good week. Her college is in dire financial straits and a plan to close its tiny, all-but-forgotten natural history museum is sending unexpected shock waves through the local community. At home, her ex-lover is staying with her - sending shock waves of a different sort through her relationship with her current (and much younger) girlfriend. Town-gown relations are in tatters! The local newspaper is erupting in violent protest! Even the historically inaccurate dioramas in the museum have started mouthing off. A screwball comedy about the perils of monogamy, certainty, and academic administration.

Script: We’ve just ordered the scripts so we don’t have them uploaded yet, but for now here’s an excerpt of it from Samuel French:
