Ya know, just when you start to wonder whether or not it's even worth doing theatre in a town like this:

The Space is saved by over 2,000 individual donors
TAG is pulled out of closing by Kent Phillips and Bellevue Civic Theatre

Our first show of the 2005 Season, "Influence," finds a new home at the Velocity Dance Studio, one week late but with a full run ahead of us.

I want to publicly thank all of the companies and individuals who stepped forward to offer assistance. Not just Velocity and our funders Patch (but thank you thank you thank you  to them), but CHAC, Northwest Film Forum, and Youth Theatre Northwest who also offered space, to Wade Madsen and UMO for giving up rehearsal time at Velocity to allow us to do a full consecutive run, and to our media, particularly the Times, the PI, and oh yes the Stranger, for supporting our company during this most recent crisis.

Theatre is tough to do at the best of times and these are far from the best of times. Without the support, interest, and fellowship of folks like these, it's probably just flat-out impossible.
