Attention Playwrights!
ACT's next Adult Playwrights Program features a topic useful for all writers - what to do when you are STUCK. The first section has filled up, but there are a few spaces left in Section 2, AND tomorrow is the last day to get $50 off enrollment!

Intermediate Playwriting
Adult Playwriting Program
January 13 - February 24, 2013
Sundays 1:00pm - 3:30pm

It happens to every writer sooner or later. You open up your play in progress, and you find yourself just sitting there, staring at a blinking cursor...stuck. Whether you are trying to get inspired for a new idea, or in the midst of struggling to rewrite a current play, it's valuable to have tools and techniques that can get your work moving again. In this class we will focus on looking outside of the genre of theatre and playwriting to utilize other sources of inspiration.

The primary focus of the class will be advancing your current project through sharing and discussion of scenes of your own choosing. In addition, through selected writing exercises, we'll explore how to derive techniques and tricks from music, dance, and other sources.

Class Dates: Sundays, January 13 - Febraury 24, 2013.
Section 2 meets 1:00pm - 3:30pm. Showcase of students work March 1.
All classes and showcase at ACT, 700 Union Street, Seattle, WA 98101
