Living Stories: 8 week Self-Revelatory Performance Workshop (starts September 17th)
« Free up your creativity
« Uncover your authentic expression
« Embrace your unique process
« Turn your life into art
Self-Revelatory Performance is a place where theater and the psyche meet. The goal is to find the "sweetspot" of solo performance where the work reaches universality while avoiding the pitfalls of self-indulgence. It is an opportunity to work authentically and playfully while uncovering delight, meaning and flow in yourself, your creativity and your relationship to the Audience.
Using movement, drama therapy, improvisation and writing, we will guide you through a supportive creative individual and group process. By the end of the series, you will have 10-20mns of solo performance that you might choose to perform during our final class. This class is for all skill levels. No acting or writing experience necessary. Shy people are welcome!
Facilitated by Dorothy Lemoult and Maggie Yowell.
