Ghost Light Theatricals is seeking a costume designer for our upcoming production of Scapin by Moliere. Early design meetings have begun for the show and we have settled on a concept that starts with the 70's punk aesthetic as a jumping off point. The mentality we are entering this world in is very non-sequiter and DIY, with the keywords of "intentionally filthy" and "repurposed," as driving points for all design elements. We already have most of the design team assembled and are looking for this final piece.

The cast will be approximately 12 people. The designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing the design for the production. As mentioned, design meetings have started and will be ongoing through the start of the production dates.

Scapin opens the weekend of October 26th and runs for three weekends. The costume design budget will be between $250 and $350 dollars, depending on the specific design.

This position is a volunteer position as Ghost Light is unfortunately unable at this point to pay our artists, though we hope to be able to do so in the future. We do offer drink tickets, comps and eternal gratification as payment.

If you are interested in being on the team, please email rob.bergquist@gmail.com to schedule a meeting and include your resume and a letter of interest in the position.
