Want to take a Freehold class and in exchange intern at Freehold?
We have some opportunities this summer at Freehold Theatre Lab/Studio!

Check out our Summer Classes here:
http://www.freeholdtheatre.org/summer-acting-classes-seattle-are-now-open-registration

Freehold has internships available in two areas: administrative work and facilities. Internships last one quarter, and the schedule is flexible.  All interns are offered tuition remission for one class per quarter minus a required deposit for the class.   For inquiries or to submit a cover letter and resume for an internship, please email info@freeholdtheatre.org with the title of the specific internship in the subject line.  We will consider applicants during the registration period for each quarter.

Stage Manager/ Assistant Director for Rehearsal and Performance: This position will assist the instructor of the Rehearsal and Performance class for the Summer 2012 quarter with a variety of tasks, including organizing rehearsal time, recording blocking, emailing notes to actors, etc.  Previous stage management experience is preferred but not required; experience with a traditional rehearsal format in some capacity is necessary.  Must be well-organized, punctual, and available for all sessions of class and performances.  Up to 40 hours of intern credit can be applied to another studio class for the summer or fall quarter.

Facilities:  Applicants should have some experience in cleaning, maintenance or construction. Interns will assist Freehold's Technical Director with facilities projects, including light maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of light and sound equipment.  (This position is open for the summer quarter.)

Administration:  Applicants should have some experience in using computers and Microsoft Office, as well as with filing and mailing. Tasks include flyer distribution, data entry, assistance with events, and filing.  (This position is open for the summer quarter.)
