Voice-over class with David Scully at Clatter and Din
INSIDE VOICE-The Secret behind the “Non-Announcer” read and  
survival tips for the Voice-over world:

Students will learn:
• The Secret behind the “Non-Announcer" read. How it came to be, and tips on how to do it
• The Secret qualities that every successful voice actor needs
• The Secret elements of every great voice-over demo, and how a less-than-stellar one could hurt your career
• The Secret on how changes in the advertising industry affect the voice-over world

Student prerequisites: This class is aimed mostly at mid-level voice talent, or someone with some acting experience. People just starting out are great too, as long as they have some experience reading text, while taking direction.

April 24th – May 15th
Tuesdays 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Exceptions: 4 students. No class 5/8 (class#3) new date TBD
$ 400 Full price for a 4-week course

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
   David Scully has worked in movies, television, radio and theater professionally for 15 plus years.
In the world of radio and voice-over Mr. Scully’s past clients have included: Ford, GMC, Homeaway, McDonalds, Macy’s, Microsoft, Nike, Play station, Taco Bell, The Seahawks, Seattle Opera, YMCA, and as the national spokesman for Voicestream (now T-Mobile) for three years.
In the gaming industry, he’s provided the voices for such companies as: Warner Brothers. Amaze Entertainment, Sucker Punch, Sierra Online, Humongous Entertainment, Headbone Interactive, Microsoft, Monolith, Valve, and Bungie, where he voiced leading characters in all four of the Halo games.
He was a writer/performer on NBC's sketch comedy series Almost Live, where he wrote, produced, edited and performed comedy sketches weekly in front of an almost live television audience. Plus, he’s written and voiced political satire for National Public Radio.
He’s been commissioned to write pieces of theater by the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Seattle Children’s Theater and he’s been commissioned twice by ACT Theater to create original one-man shows.
He’s the recipient of the coveted Telly Award for his television writing, won numerous awards from the Seattle Arts Commission Award for Playwriting, and is the proud recipient of the Theodore Ward Playwriting Contest in Chicago, Illinois.

Students will learn:
