"Unforgettable" audition a scam?

This posting looks suspicious. I Googled the email address and it looks like this posting is all over the web....Anyone try this and get a legitimate response?

Yeah, sorry to say, it's a scam.  I see these all the time.  You usually get lead to a website where you have to pay money to get access to "breakdowns."  UNFORGETTABLE is not even shot in the area.  Beware.

I thought it seemed strange that they would be posting an audition here.  I like the show so, just out of curiosity, I responded to see what they would say.  I received an immediate, obviously automatic, email response sending me to their website which requires a paid membership to get audition info.

This is not a legitimate audition notice and, I believe, it should be deleted and the poster prohibited from posting in the future.  I had considered notifying the TPS staff before I saw this discussion thread.  I believe that this will reach them and other TPS members.

Thanks all.  I'm usually pretty quick about deleting these but I had never even heard of "Unforgettable" so it didn't catch my eye.

That's one of the downsides of having unmoderated audition postings - sometimes these things will get through despite our best efforts.  I'm also pretty happy to see many people skeptical of this audition, it's good to be wise   -Shane
