BPA Theatre School is pleased to offer a four-week fall audition workshop for ages 18 – adult, taught by Aaron Tuttle and beginning October 1.
When an audition notice is posted, do you sweat about what to perform? The audition is a job interview and it starts before you enter the room. Approaching the audition is just as important as the audition itself. In this workshop, you will learn the practical and useful skills of auditioning, from the selection of the proper monologue to approaching the room with confidence. Throughout the four-week workshop actors will explore monologues on their feet and be coached to find the best intentions and characterizations. The next time an audition notice is posted, approach the audition with ease!
Aaron Tuttle is a professional director, film maker and teacher whose work has taken him all over the country. In addition to directing, Aaron has worked for New York casting agents and has taught every facet of theatre at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas for nearly a decade.
APPROACHING THE AUDITION! meets October 1 – 22, Saturdays at 2:15 – 4:15 p.m. Tuition is $120.
