Verbalists seeks modern storytellers for an October 22nd, 2011 live showcase and subsequent e-book publication. Participating storytellers will receive a $125 fee for their performance, participation in the Verbalists creative process, and non-exclusive publication rights in Verbalists’ Journal.
Verbalists aspires to be the home of modern storytelling in the Pacific Northwest. For this showcase, we are seeking pieces that are between 5 and 25 minutes long.

How to apply: email a brief description of your piece to Wesley K. Andrews at wes { at } wesleykandrews.com (subject line “Verbalists Submission”). Please speak to both form and content and mention any prior performances. Please do not attach any files to this initial email. You may then be asked to forward your written text, outline, or other guiding document.
Verbalists will take place at 8:00 PM on October 22nd, 2011, at 826 Seattle in the Greenwood neighborhood as part of the ArtsCrush Festival. Financial support is provided by Amazon.com and Theatre Puget Sound.
