Doors and sardines and underwear and hanky panky! http://tacomalittletheatre.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=201440
Saw "Noises Off" at Tacoma Little Theatre this past weekend and was treated to a hilarious rendition of the de facto Momma & Poppa of all farces. As the director's notes say in the program, don't try to makes sense or follow the logic of the twists and turns, just sit back and let yourself be taken for a ride! Starring a stellar ensemble cast, the energy is high and the jokes are plentiful, some are over the top but THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BE!
Also, don't rush out to the lobby during intermission (if you do, come back quickly) so you can see the crew work their magic while literally turning a beautiful set "inside out". Great family fun (Ages 13 and over is what the poster says) and a forever staple of the crowd-pleaser pantheon of plays.
It runs weekends in April on Fridays & Saturdays Evenings @7:30pm with Sunday Matinees @2pm. Go give yourself the gift of laughter before she closes on the weekend of April 23-25.
