West of Brooklyn Theater Company needs volunteer ushers for its world premiere of” Lightning in A Bottle” by Martin Pierce.
Lightning runs August 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17 and 18th at The Theatre off Jackson located at 407 7th Ave in Seattle.

“Lightning in a Bottle” is highly publicized, from features in the Seattle Times, the Seattle Post Intelligencer and radio interviews with KOMO and KJR and will feature several local radio personalities, including the Gasman and Softie of KJR radio.

Ushers would be expected to arrive at the theatre at 6:45pm, show starts at 7:30pm. Duties include ushering and some ticket collection.

Ushers will receive two tickets to the show on any other evening, invitation to the rocking West of Brooklyn after party on August 3rd and our eternal gratitude. If interested, please email your name, telephone number and what date you are available to usher to info@westofbklyn.com.

LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE is a play that follows a diverse group of Seattle Mariners fans (and non-fans) as they experience the highs and lows of the record-breaking, and ultimately heart-breaking, 2001 season that was tragically interrupted by 9/11. LIGHTNING IN A BOTTLE, set in a small Seattle neighborhood café, follows a group of employees and customers as they experience the highs and lows of the baseball season, the major transitions in their own lives, love, tragedy and 9/11.Most of all it’s a story of how bonds are forged through good times and bad, through events both seemingly trivial and life-changing.
