Managing Director - A Contemporary Theatre (ACT)

ACT seeks a seasoned leader and creative thinker, able to work closely and in partnership with the Artistic Director to help ensure the future success of the company.  The chosen candidate will demonstrate strong leadership acumen, exhibit effective organizational and solid interpersonal skills – including a track record for leading, managing and developing a team, have a firm understanding of management processes,  have excellent budgetary skills and possess outgoing and proactive community-building skills.   

ACT Theatre offers a competitive compensation package including health benefits, a TIAA-CREF 403(b) retirement plan, as well as vacation and sick leave. Interested candidates are invited to submit resume, salary history, a minimum of three references and a cover letter describing interest, relevant qualifications and experience to the Managing Director Search Committee which is composed of ACT Trustees, Seattle community members and ACT staff members.
