We are seeking an Executive Assistant to join us at ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) in downtown Seattle. The theatre seeks an intelligent, motivated, energetic candidate who will provide executive-level administrative assistance to the Managing Director and serve as our Board liaison. Successful candidates will be resourceful, flexible and able to manage multiple and shifting tasks simultaneously with a positive and professional attitude. A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, preferably in theatre management or related field, business, marketing, communications or liberal arts. Prior experience in the performing arts, a non-profit setting, or in a customer-service related field and/or an advanced degree a plus. This position is full-time and includes an hourly pay rate of $12.50, a 403(b) retirement plan, a basic health care plan, and complimentary tickets to all ACT Theatre productions.
