Greetings All,

I am starting a search for stand alone ticketing software with the ability to support multiple stages.  Before I exhaust myself on the hundreds of sites out in Web Land.  I thought I would got to those folks I know and love best.

Any suggestions of places to contact or if you have a system you truly like.  Let me know.  Oh, another point, I do not need a subscription or mailing list companion package.

Thanks in Advance,

Stewart Hawk

Hi Stewart,

When I worked at Seattle Opera, we used Tessitura. It will do more than you need, and is quite expensive. However, it is really nice.

Currently, at New Repertory Theatre (In Watertown, MA), I use Choice Ticketing. It is much less expensive, but still a pretty penny. As much as I used it so far, it has been great. It may also have more features than you need.

Another company I've dealt with here in Boston uses Folio. They claimed that it is even less expensive/sophisticated than Choice, but has a tendency to freeze. However, when it was demoed for me last week, it seemed pretty intuitive.

I hope that at least helps as you start your search! Good luck.

You can also check out one of Theatre Puget Sound's Business Affiliates: Modern Classics, Inc.  http://www.dbmeg.com/

The company is owned and operated by Barry Pollack.  Barry is a really nice guy.  He presented a break-out session at this year's TPS Fall Forum.  I know that Joe McIalwain has worked with him before.

Company Description:
Modern Classics creates affordable integrated software for theatres and other performing arts organizations.  Our custom designed and easy to use products integrate box office, development, marketing, volunteer management, production management and drama school functions of small and mid-sized community and regional theatres.

Hi Stewart,
There's WinTix too. Keith D would have a better sense of it but it seems affordable and appropriate for your needs

Hey, Thanks everyone, this give me great options to start my search.  Sorry it took me so long to get back to you all.  I don't get to the website as often as before.  The students at Garfield keep me prety busy.
