2006 TPS Fall Forum: On the Front Lines[/i][/b]

October 21-22, 2006
Lee Center for the Arts

Theatre Puget Sound is pleased to announce that they have partnered with Seattle University to present their 9th annual regional theatre conference, 2006 TPS Fall Forum: On the Front Lines, at Seattle University's new arts venue The Jeanne Marie and Rhoady Lee, Jr. Center for the Arts.  The conference will be held October 21 – 22, 2006.  This is a tremendous opportunity to introduce the regional theatre community to a beautiful new performance space that is also the current home of Empty Space Theatre.

The 2006 TPS Fall Forum features presentations from world renowned performer Peggy Shaw and noted author, researcher and management consultant Alan S. Brown.  The focus of this year’s conference revolves around issues of diversity and development – more specifically, the need to break down barriers that prevent growth, risk-taking and the development of new audiences.  Complimenting these issue related conversations will be the popular hands-on workshops and breakout sessions covering anything from playwriting techniques to trends in arts participation to script analysis and everything in between.

The annual TPS Fall Forum provides theatre artists, technicians and administrators from the Puget Sound region the chance to come together to discuss the challenges and issues facing our region's theatre community. The two day event also includes workshops, debates, plenary sessions, resource tables and various networking and socializing opportunities.

Online registration begins on September 15th!  Registration fees are as follows:

Early Bird Rate (register before October 6)

TPS Member: $35
Non-member: $50
Student TPS Member: $15
Student Non-member: $20

After October 6th all prices increase by $10.  Box lunches on Saturday will be optional at $10.

Keep an eye on for a full schedule and updates!
