$1,300
I am writing/producing a play opening in August and desperately need to raise funds for it so my car has got to go even though I HATE to part with it.
This car has it's issues like any 20 year old car with a little over 200,000 miles on it. If you're looking for pristine - this isn't it. But it's a great car for the price and with a little aesthetic work it would go for much more.
The good:
- It runs and drives great.
- Brand new tires.
- Never a problem starting or driving.
It's a BMW and I've loved driving this car on a daily basis. The only time it's failed me is when I got a flat tire and then I put brand new tires on it.
The issues:
-Lots of little "old car annoyances" - the automatic windows are touchy. Warning lights flash even though the car is not malfunctioning (I took it to a mechanic and was told that the lights are broken not the car, following their inspection).
- The interior's clean but a little ragged.
- Brake pads need to be replaced.
-The paint job. Yuk. It's pretty bad. A few minor spots of rust, but nothing serious. The body is straight, though. Get it painted and the value just goes way up. I don't have the time or the cash-flow to do it right now. This car would go for much more if I did that.
Email to make an appointment to see it. As my mechanic said to me: A little TLC and good maintenance and this car will run forever.
