The Woodinville Repertory Theatre is seeking a stage manager for our October production of Neil Simon’s California Suite.

Rehearsals: start on Sept 17 and rehearse 4 to 5 evenings a week (rehearsals are at our performance site of Denali Slab and Tile Denali Slab & Tile Studio 16120 Woodinville Redmond Road NE, Suite 12 Woodinville, WA 98072 (Located behind Venetian Stone Works)

Performances: October 6-8, October 13-15; October 20 (Friday); October 22 (Sunday); October 26 (Thursday); October 27 (Friday) and Sunday, October 29, 2017 Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows at 7:30 p.m. Sundays at 2 p.m.

Show Location: Tile Denali Slab & Tile Studio 16120 Woodinville Redmond Road NE, Suite 12 Woodinville, WA 98072 (Located behind Venetian Stone Works)

What is the Woodinville Repertory Theatre:
Founded in 1998 by Peg Phillips (of TV’s “Northern Exposure“), Woodinville Repertory Theatre is a semi professional theater company in Woodinville, Washington. The company is dedicated to producing quality theater to appeal to audiences from the entire Puget Sound region.

The Woodinville Repertory Theatre is seeking a Prop Master for our upcoming production of Larry Shue's The Nerd.

Here is the information:
 
Show Dates:
April 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30.
Shows are 7:30 Curtain
Sunday’s are 2 PM Matinees
 
Rehearsals begin Feb 27 and run until April 13.  Monday – Thursday 7 PM working around any conflicts.
 
We have access to schools and other theatres in the area to borrow props from.  
 
There is a stipend for gathering props and running the props This work requires both responsibilities.
 
Having exhausted all of my contacts from previous shows I am reaching out help us get  this production on its feet.

Title:  Production Manager Intern   Production:   The Actress
Reports To:  Director & Artistic Director   Start Date: Aug 10, 2014          End Date: Oct 10, 2014
Hours: 10-20 hours per week     Stipend: $300 per month, paid in 2 installments

Summary:
Working under the supervision of the Director and/or the Artistic Director, the Production Manager will oversee and coordinate aspects of the physical production process and the production staff and crew. Production Manager attends rehearsals and performances at theatre location, Denali Slab and Tile, 16120 Woodinville/Redmond Rd., Woodinville, WA 98072.
 
Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration:

•   Preparation of production paperwork
•   Assist in contracting costumer, prop person, tech crew as needed by show director
•   Manage delivery of signed contracts, cast bios, production contact lists and other records as necessary
•   Maintain show budget, coordinating with contractors to maintain show budget
•   Provide weekly reports on costs and deadlines via email (budget software provided)
•   Provide cost estimates (if applicable) for materials and labor in scenic, stage, lighting, sound, special effects and other special projects relating to show production

Production:

•   Assists the Director.
•   Video and music management and production for rehearsals and performances
•   Develop equipment and procedures for stage effects and changeovers
•   Manage carpentry, electrical and property staff as needed.
•   Facilitate communication between designers, director and staff
•   Organize rehearsal props, sets and costumes
•   Performs other duties as needed or as suits the candidate’s interests.
    
     Education/Experience/Knowledge and Skills:

•   Some education or experience in technical theatre
•   Passion for theatre
•   Excellent and clear communication skills
•   Good problem-solving skills
•   Experience leading a team
•   Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented
•   Ability to follow oral and written instructions
•   Computer savvy
•     Ability to work independently and meet objectives

The Woodinville Repertory Theatre is searching to hire a technical director for its upcoming production of Greater Tuna.
 
Below is the information for the position;

1. “Greater Tuna” will run for the following twelve performances at the Denali Slab and Tile Studio in Woodinville Washington in March 2013
Show dates: March 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24 28, 29, 30, 2013.

2.  The fee for designing and construction: will total $400.00.

3.  The undersigned will receive two personal comp tickets throughout the run.  

4.   A stage manager and two crew members will be available to assist with the execution of the design.


The undersigned artist guarantees to Woodinville Repertory Theatre:

1.   The building and implementation of the scenic design
2.   In charge of the theater’s technical maintenance
3.   Provides a scenic inventory list to Scenic Designers
4.   Ensures the scenic costs of production do not go over budget in coordination with the
5.   Scenic Designer, Treasurer, and Director
6.   Secures detailed scenic designs (ground plan and elevations) for each production in
7.   conjunction with the Designers and Director
8.   Acquires and maintains all construction materials and equipment for the season
9.   Oversees the construction of sets and costumes in conjunction with the Designers and
10.   Director of all Build Days, and working outside of build days when necessary to complete the set.
11.   Build Day responsibilities include:
a.   Meeting with the Scenic Designer in advance to create a build schedule and cut list
b.   Going to Home Depot, PNTA, etc to purchase any needed materials (have access to a car that can transport 4’x8’ sheets of plywood)
c.   Contacting Denali and NPAC Facilities Management regarding the disposal of materials (paint, wood, etc.)
d.   Ensuring that after build days, the work areas (inside and outside) are clear and
e.   the stage is clear for rehearsal
f.   Oversee the use of tools and equipment, and educate members how to use them safely and properly.
g.   Ensures stock materials are available, such as screws, painters tape, brushes, rollers, etc, and that batteries are charged and ready for use
12.   Ensures the completion of the design, and repairs the set if necessary
a.   Maintains WRT storage facilities
13.   Draft a tool/shop proposal/ wish-list for WRT regarding how to best spend funds
14.   Oversees strike of the set on closing night of each production.
15.   Performs any other duties required of him/her by the organization.


1.   To Schedule all production meetings between Feb to March 3, 2013
2.   To Schedule all Build Days between Feb to March 2, 2013.
3.   To attend at least one run through between Feb 21 – Feb 28, 2013.
4.   To be present for load-in on March 3rd, 2013
5.    To attend all tech rehearsals from March 4-7 2013.

What:   This unique workshop’s purpose is:
•    To prepare students with techniques appropriate for musical theatre auditions for state and national colleges and universities with such programs of study.
•   To prepare students for The Washington State Thespian Individual Events Festival, to be held in February, 2008.
•   To create a cooperative musical review in early September of 2007, showcasing the talents of local students for Local Casting Directors, Producers, Directors, and Talent Agents who are being invited to attend to help spot potential new talent from this age group.

Instructors Larry Bridges and Hjalmer Anderson will be joined by guest lecturers Vanessa Miller, Anne Allgood from the 5th Avenue Theatre, professional actress from stage and screen, Melanie Workhoven and one of Seattle’s top choreographers, Tina Mollis.
