TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, BAINBRIDGE PERFORMING ARTS (BPA)

This is a full time, exempt position. Salary range is $35,000-$40,000 DOE,
includes employee health benefits, generous vacation, and sick-leave.
TD is eligible for additional lighting and set design contracts for an additional per-show stipend.
BPA encourages creative participation in productions as interested.

The Technical Director will strengthen the stewardship-based culture of BPA and further its mission by working directly with volunteers and stipend-eligible designers, BPA staff, and other committees as required for projects designed to support the organization.

Set in Edwardian England and based on one of the most popular Disney movies of all time and the beloved books by P.L. Travers, the musical Mary Poppins is a delightful fusion of various elements from the two. Directed by Ken Michels with Choreography by Heather Dawson and Musical Direction by Josh Anderson,
Mary Poppins is an exciting holiday addition to BPA’s 2015-2016 season.

First rehearsal: September 26, 2015
Tech: November 28th, Dress rehearsals: Nov. 30th, Dec. 1st, Dec. 2nd
Performances: December 3rd – 20th

All rehearsals and performances are held at Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA), 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. BPA is located a short walk from the downtown Seattle to Bainbridge ferry terminal and has a costume shop and stock onsite. The position offers a designer stipend; more details available upon request.

Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) is seeking an experienced Costume Manager for our upcoming production of The Drowsy Chaperone.  We are renting the costumes and are in need of a manger to take measurements, do fittings & alterations and coordinate the rental details.  Stipend and budget provided.  

Rehearsals begin March 9th, tech is May 2-5 and the show opens May 7th.
