    Submission instructions:

"Keys" is an original life-story based intergenerational theatre production devised and performed by actors of diverse age, gender, and ethnic / cultural backgrounds.

The show will be created by the actors during the rehearsal process.

"Keys" will rehearse at the Silver Kite office (4000 Aurora Ave N, Suite 111, Seattle, WA 98103. Rehearsals will be held on Saturday afternoons from 3 - 6pm, and on Jan 6, 7, 9 and Feb 17, 18, 20, and 28 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.

"Keys" will tour to retirement communities, community centers, and schools in King (and possibly south Snohomish / north Pierce) County from March 1, 2019 - April 30, 2019.

There will be between 15 - 20 touring performances of "Keys" scheduled on intermittent Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays during the touring block.

We do our best to schedule performances around actor conflicts, but it will be necessary to schedule morning or afternoon performances on some Mondays and Tuesdays during the 8 - 5pm work day.

Actors will receive at least a one month's notice of a scheduled touring performance.
The show is produced by Silver Kite Community Arts, LLC, directed by Rachel Rene, and assisted directed by Ali Alderman.

Silver Kite designs and facilitates intergenerational arts experiences and arts programs for older adults. In the summer of 2019, Silver Kite received the International Innovation Award from Generations United.
