In this original theatrical feat, a small ensemble of actors memorize the entire script of a classic play. On the night of the show, the audience rolls dice to determine who plays who, and the show goes up.

This year, we apply our most audacious format to a different kind of classic as we Dice an original adaptation of Jane Austen’s masterpiece, Pride & Prejudice.

Our rehearsal schedule will include a 2-week devising period from September 24th-October 6th, a dark week from October 7th-14th for memorization, and regular rehearsals from October 15th-November 11th.
Tech will be from November 12th-21st, and the show will run November 22nd-December 8th. There will be a show on the Friday following Thanksgiving (November 29th).

Please note that this show demands a significant time and energy commitment from its cast.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
We are casting a small, diverse ensemble. We are seeking actors with strong memorization skills and an eagerness to play and discover.

We are seeking to add up to 3 actors to our existing 5-person ensemble. Actors of all gender identities, ethnicities, and abilities strongly encouraged to apply. We are specifically seeking to cast actors of color in our ensemble.

Due to the limited number of spots we are looking to fill, we will not be able to see everyone who submits, and are auditioning by approval only. We encourage performers of all backgrounds, abilities, disciplines, and experience levels to submit.

We are especially excited to see performers with movement experience, a comfort with or passion for classic texts, improv experience, or devising experience.

Please note that Dice demands significant commitment from its cast for the duration of the rehearsal and performance process.
