Stabbin’ Cabin is a fast-paced, high-action horror improvised play set in a 1980s summer camp, paying tribute to the slasher genre as well as lampooning its stereotypes. The show will feature heightened physicality, live special effects, and audience participation as guests will ultimately decide who lives and who dies.
Rehearsals will be one weeknight (Tuesday or Wednesday evenings) and one weekend (Saturday or Sunday, late morning or early afternoon) throughout August and September.
Tech rehearsals are Saturday and Sunday, September 28 & 29 (daytime) and Mon-Wed (Sept. 30-Oct. 2) evening.
Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm (6:30pm call time) October 3-November 1, 2019. (No Saturday performances. Second-to-final performance will be on Halloween.)
Exact performance dates:
October 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, & November 1.
Performances (and many rehearsals) take place at Jet City Improv: 5510 University Way NE, Seattle.
Stabbin’ Cabin is created by Phoebe Richards (director of Stoner Chicks) and Steve Lange (director of A Tribe Called Yes).
