To produce work that is inclusive of youth and families has been the number one request of Theatre Battery from our local community in South King County. We are extremely proud to be exploring the potential to serve this new audience in Kent this summer.
Kiki is a 13-year old witch who flies away from home on her broomstick to start her own small business. On the path to success in a strange new place, Kiki must learn to trust her magical powers and find the determination to change a community for the better.
Based on a series of books by Eiko Kadono and later adapted into a hit anime film by Hayao Miazaki, this will be the first American production of Jessica Siân's live theatre adaption. We are thrilled to have Theatre Battery's long-standing Casting Director Kathryn Stewart helm the production, which will perform in our converted storefront space at Kent Station.
All performances of KIKI's DELIVERY SERVICE will be served to audiences with RADICAL HOSPITALITY: No-Cost Admission for All.
