Character Breakdown / Project Needs
DAVID: 20-30 male. David makes a living as a worship leader for a small suburban church. He enjoys his job, but holds doubts about Christianity and is tiring of the superficiality of modern church culture. Though he may seem reticent or irreverent, he possesses a vulnerability and an intensity that can be seen when he sings. He is quick to dismiss the mundane and anxiously yearns for something authentic, dramatic, spectacular (Singing/guitar experience is preferred).
CARY: 20-25 female. Cary is a college student who attends her mother's church whenever she visits home. She has contagious enthusiasm, is warm and approachable, but feels achingly unfulfilled. To remedy her emptiness, she searches for significance in every aspect of her life: every movie she watches, every occasional visit to church, every boy she meets. She falls in love too easily, falls out of love too quickly, and has little time for regret.
