Eastside Actors’ Lab, with a generous grant from 4Culture, will be starting its free 2019 Meisner Intensive on April 9, 2019. Eastside Actors’ Lab is a non-profit organization that provides actor training and professional theatrical productions for and to the communities east of Seattle.

Our Lab meets weekly, on Tuesday evenings, in Kirkland to train, primarily by Meisner’s Repetition Exercise, as taught by William Esper in "The Actor’s Art and Craft." In addition to Repetition exercises, our Lab sessions will offer qualified actors the chance to develop scenes and perform monologues. Given the progressive and intimate nature of our work, actors are expected to commit to participate in six-week intervals. Absences should be discussed with the Lab's leadership beforehand.

The Lab will hold a Meet & Greet on April 2, 2019 for new and interested actors to learn about the Lab and for the Lab’s leadership to speak with (and to interview) potential participants. The Meet & Greet will be from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Den Coffee Shop (10415 Beardslee Blvd. Bothell, WA 98011) on April 2, 2019.

Interested actors should email their headshot and resume to Trent Latta at And to keep apprised of Lab events, like our Facebook Page and join our Group. Those who cannot attend the Meet & Greet but who still wish to participate should request a phone interview in their email to Trent.
