GreenStage is auditioning for our 2019 Shakespeare in the Park Season. Our season includes two full length, full cast productions, and our Backyard Bard series that consists of two abbreviated plays both done by the same cast of 4 actors.

2019 productions
THE TAMING OF THE SHREW – Directed by Jennifer Crooks
HENRY IV, PART 2 – Directed by Chris Shea

Backyard Bard plays are THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR and MEASURE FOR MEASURE – Directed by Erin Day

All three tours run from July 12 – August 17, and rehearsals start in June

** Actors of all ethnicities, gender identities, ages, and body types/sizes are encouraged to audition. **
** Stage combat training and/or experience a plus, but not required. **

Our productions are largely ensemble based, with some actors taking on multiple roles. We are interested in seeing actors who have experience in outdoor theater, but all actors are welcome.

At this point, all roles are open.

Each of our productions tours to approximately twelve outdoor park locations in and around Seattle.

Audition Dates:
Sunday, March 24 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday, March 25 from 5:00 – 10:00 pm
