For 51 years, the King County Bar Association has hosted an annual conference about employment and labor law called the Pacific Coast Labor and Employment Law Conference (PCLELC). We usually have 300 attendees at the Conference. This year, we are putting on a short play in 5 acts to facilitate a discussion on legal risks and issues/best practices associated with the fractured workplace in the age of Trump.

We have seven parts available but are anticipating some actors will play more than one role. We are looking for a diverse slate of actors. The play will be presented live from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.. on Thursday April 25, 2019, at the Washington State Convention center.

Actors who are chosen to perform at the Conference will be paid $450 each.

Application Process:
Interested actors should email their resume and a head shot to: PCLELC2018@gmail.com by 5:00 p.m. on March 18, 2018. You will be notified by March 22, 2018, if you are selected to audition.

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
7 spots available, though actors will likely play multiple roles.

Roles can switch gender. We are looking for an ethnically diverse slate of actors. Roles include managers, HR professionals, employees.

Audition Requirements:
Cold readings from scripts, actors will act out scenes.

Monetary compensation:
Selected actors will be paid $450 each.
