The Urban Poverty Forum is an annual event produced in collaboration with Real Change, Town Hall and The Mahogany Project (TMP). The March 17, 2019 event will focus on the topic: 'Global
War, Local Impact'. The forum will examine the effects of current wars and their impact locally on the personal and structural level.
TMP will present new, original pieces reflecting this issue at various times throughout the event.
The Urban Poverty Forum sustains a local dialogue around the systematic issues of urban poverty and other concerns impacting our community.
There will be 6 rehearsal dates spread throughout Jan., Feb. and March.
Rehearsal times will be Monday, Tuesday and/or Friday evenings. With possibly one Saturday rehearsal. All rehearsals will be in the Seattle area.
We will work with actors cast to determine rehearsal dates accordingly.
