This year's New Works festival will feature the full length play, It’s Only Kickball, Stupid.
By Caroline Prugh.

Fiona returns to her hometown and runs into her very first 6th grade crush Margo. The two reminisce about playing Kickball and flash back to the playground to re-account the year they brought the girl's team to defeat the boy's team. As they remember their youth they find that maybe some of that spark is still there today.

As is our tradition, we will alternately feature several additional short plays which all tell stories from our LGBTQIA+ community.

Henry/Hal: Henry is 12 and Margo’s 6th grade boyfriend full of toxic masculinity. Hal is 38, Margo’s husband, and more of a feminist than Margo knows.
