Beautiful Thing a complicated but sweet love story about a teenage closeted gay boy living in the projects in southeast London, his love interest, his mother, her lover, and a neighbor. There are scenes that discuss domestic violence, drug use, and one scene with mildly sexual overtones; nothing explicit.

Rehearsal will start sporadically in October with a lot of rehearsal in November. Show opens November 30 and closes December 15. Fridays and Saturday shows, with the addition of two or three other dates.

Auditions are Sunday, September 30, 2-5pm. Location TBD. Email for an appointment. If interested and unavailable during this time, email to arrange a separate time.

The director is Gary Zinter, a longtime actor and director in Seattle. He is the former Artistic Director of Open Circle Theater and a frequent collaborator with many longtime Seattle artists and companies.
