Getting a play from the page to the stage is a very collaborative process. The Dramatists Guild is tackling this need head-on with an evening of networking and artistic matchmaking. And YOU’RE invited.
We will be hosting a Playwright/Director artistic "speed dating" event on Sunday, September 16 at 4:30 PM.
You will be paired up and have three minutes to pitch yourself, your aesthetics, your projects, and your dreams one-on-one before a bell rings and you move on to a new pair.
Important things to note:
This is a free event, but due to limited space, we will be capping attendance and an RSVP is necessary. All levels of directors/ theatremakers/ dramaturgs/ producers are welcome, but mention if you are an SDC member to receive priority on the list. (Playwright slots are now all filled, but a wait list is available. Playwrights must be DG members.)
Immediately following the speed dating event will be a reception with light refreshments and an opportunity to reconnect and mingle with potential collaborators.
Please RSVP to Seattle Regional Rep Kate Danley at firstname.lastname@example.org
