The Funhouse Family Presents
Created by Brian Toews
Directed by Anna Ly, Brian Toews, Chris Quilici, Katie Greve, & Mario Orallo-Molinaro
Production Stage Management by Lyssandra Norton
Featuring Isabel Moskowitz and Lee Yang

Funhouse is recurring play anthology inspired by The Twilight Zone, Black Mirror, Saturday Night Live, Mr. Show and Adult Swim.

The Funhouse Family produces subversive and experimental original content characterized by a multi-genre format that reaches beyond traditional theatrical norms. Each live show is comprised of a series of short plays that, when viewed together, give audiences an experience similar to that of walking through a funhouse. As soon as you think you know what’s coming next, the room starts spinning and the floor falls out from under you.

Our shows serve as a rotating platform for diverse up-and-coming playwrights, directors, actors, and designers. We strive to make theatre accessible to all audiences by working with artists from a wide variety of creative backgrounds, including theatre arts, music, film, graphic design, comedy, and literary arts. The creators of Funhouse want artists to take bold risks in their storytelling.

Funhouse was created by Brian Toews. The first show was co-produced and directed by Anna Ly, Brian Toews, and Chris Quilici. It received its premiere at Eclectic Theater in Seattle, WA June 2017 to a sold-out run.

Funhouse II was directed by Brian Toews, Dylan Gervais, Maddy Noonan, and Mario Orallo-Molinaro and premiered at The Slate Theater in October 2017 selling out three of four performances.

Funhouse III was directed by Anna Ly, Brian Toews, Dylan Gervais, Megan Murphy, and Mikey Moore and premiered at The Slate Theater in April 2018 to a sold-out run.

This is a show for mature audiences (18+), and we have encouraged subversive and/or experimental work. Scripts will be available on September 10. Please read the scripts before auditioning. You can find the link here:
