Bellevue teens productions is a production team completely made up of teens, for teens. We focus on giving performance opportunities for teenagers in the eastside area. We highly encourage actors of all ethnicities, sexualities and gender identities to audition, as we specifically hope to serve minorities. This is our third full scale production.

We will be putting on the original Spring Awakening play by Frank Wedekind (this is not the musical version). The play deals with harsh subjects such as violence, suicide, and rape. All roles are for ages 14-19. If you are ages 14-15 you must get parental permission to participate. If you are over 16 we strongly recommend you inform your parents of the content of the play before auditioning. We ask this to prevent parents from not allowing you to do the play after rehearsals have started. Some roles require kissing and implied sex.

Other details:
We will be casting up to 15 actors, meaning some roles will be double cast or combined. The show will be cast gender blind, with the exception of the roles Wendla and Melchior. Rehearsals will take place in Bellevue, Tuesday, Thursdays and Saturdays from 5-7 Starting June 11th. There will be additional rehearsals the week of performances. Performances will take place at Pocket Theatre in Seattle, August 10th at 7pm, and August 11th at 2pm and 7pm.
