Summer Shakespeare in the park tour

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Every summer Last Leaf Productions produces one-hour versions of two Shakespeare plays and performs them in parks in the greater Puget Sound area. This year we will be presenting Twelfth Night and King Lear all roles open

We’re looking for performers of all ages, sexes, colors, creeds, ethnicities and backgrounds.

We also need a Stage Manager (or Actor/SM) for the rehearsals and run of the show.

We’ll be rehearsing on weekday evenings in April/May, followed by a packed schedule of outdoor performances in June through early August. Most of our performances will be on the East side, but we will also be performing at the Seattle Outdoor Theater Festival in Volunteer Park in mid-July. Because our rehearsal and performance venues are so spread out, it’s essential that you have your own transportation.

Auditions will be at TPS in Seattle April 15 (Sunday) from 11am to 2:30pm by appointment. To sign up for an audition time, please contact us at lastleafalex@frontier.com

Please prepare two speeches, in contrasting styles, both from Shakespeare. Speeches should be no longer than three minutes each.

Audition/Interview Dates:
April 15

Audition Requirements:
two contrasting monologues less than 3 minutes each

Monetary compensation:
pass the hat or stipend
