Oh She's Back! Encore performance of "Mrs. Butterfield And her Bible Book!" A live stage play set against the antebellum South, where a Southern Plantation owner's wife has a particular relationship with a certain group of female slaves concerning retribution, freedom and the Bible. This drama uses truths of the Bible, history, and builds up to a surprise ending you don't want to miss! This is an adult play due to its contents and setting in the era of the antebellum South.

Please be sure to bring your personal schedule, so that you may accurately fill out the conflict calendar on the audition form.

Dancers please wear comfortable appropriate dance wear for your audition.

 

Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Male Caucasian Plantation Owner

(4-6) Female African American Dancers. Dancers come prepared with an African dance and music on CD selection to perform.

(3-4) African American Males and (3-4) Females acapella singers who can act.

Dedicated volunteers crew members!

Experienced and newcomers are welcome to audition as an On Time Player!

Audition/Interview Dates:
March 24, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Callbacks or second audition/interview?
At Director's the discretion

Audition Requirements:
Prepare a monologue, cold readings from scrip and/or other materials.

Dancers come prepared with an African dance and music on CD selection to perform.

Singers come prepared with an acapella Negro Spiritual selection to perform.

Monetary compensation:
We are looking for dedicated volunteer performers and crew members! Experienced and newcomers are welcome to audition as an On Time Player!
