An independent theater production of Richard II, this will explore the nature of power: how you get it, how you keep it, how you lose it. 11 Actors will perform 26 roles in a tight, spare, and evocative production.
Rehearsals Begin February 26th: Monday-Thursday 7-10pm; Saturday 11-2pm
Tech Rehearsals: Sunday April 8th-Thursday April 12th
Performances April 13th-29th Friday-Sunday, possible Student Matinees.
Rehearsals will be held in downtown Tacoma
Performances will be in the Dukesbay Theater Space in Tacoma's Stadium District.

Actor 1: King Richard II
Actor 2: Henry Bolingbroke
Actor 3: Duke of Aumerle, Lady in Waiting, Keeper
Actor 4: Duke of York, Thomas Mowbray, Welsh Captain
Actor 5: John of Gaunt, Earl of Salisbury, Gardener, Guard
Actor 6: Northumberland, Lord Marshall, Abbot, Exton’s Servant
Actor 7: Pre-Cast
Actor 8: Duchess of York, Bushy, Sir Stephen Scroop
Actor 9: Bishop of Carlisle, Green, Gardener’s Servant
Actor 10: Henry Percy, Bagot, Lord Ross
Actor 11: Lord Willoughby, Exton
Actors will be playing several roles, which represent characters between 20 and 70 years old.
We are open to any gender playing any character as any gender. Many characters are written as men but do not have to be played by or as men. Likewise for the roles written as women, with the exception of the the Duchess of York. This character must be played AS a women, but not necessarily BY a woman.
We are open to any and all characters being played by any ethnicity.

Callbacks or second audition/interview?
Monday, February 19th, 7-10pm
Classical Monologue no more than 2 minutes long.
Be prepared to cold read.
Actors will recieve a split of any profits and of any donations on artists' behalf.
