Twelfth Night Productions is pleased to announce auditions for their 2018 spring production of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.” Directors Rick Springer and Jane Ryan are planning a wild party of a play infused with jazzy rhythms. Casting of all roles is open; all ethnicities and gender identities are encouraged. Auditions will be held Jan. 20 from 3:30 to 7:30 and Sunday Jan. 21 from 1:30 – 4:30, with callbacks on January 22 from 6:30 – 9:30. The location for the auditions and the performances is the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, 4408 Delridge Way SW in West Seattle.
Actors should prepare a memorized one-minute Shakespeare monologue, and if you sing, we’d love to hear you! (no accompaniment available).
Rehearsals begin in early March and PERFORMANCE DATES are April 13 & 14 evening, 15 matinee, 20 & 21 evening, 22 matinee. To request an audition appointment, please send your photo and resume to Jane Ryan at firstname.lastname@example.org
Character Breakdown / Project Needs
Please familiarize yourself with the characters and plot of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night," and ask yourself what you would like to bring to this jazz -infused production. Be creative!
All ethnicities and gender-identities are encouraged to audition.
