SecondStory Repertory is holding auditions for our February/March 2018 TYA production of Junie B. Jones The Musical. Directed & choregraphed by Carissa Meisner Smit with music direction by Rebecca Fredrickson.

It's Junie B.'s first day of first grade, and a lot of things have changed for her: Junie's friend, Lucille, doesn't want to be her best pal anymore and, on the bus, Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. Also, Junie has trouble reading the blackboard and her teacher, Mr. Scary, thinks she may need glasses. Throw in a friendly cafeteria lady, a kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting.

The show will run February 17-March 18, 2018 on Saturdays and Sundays at 1pm and 3pm. We may or may not have school shows during the weeks of February 26-March 2, 2018 and March 5-7, 2018; shows are at 9:30am and 11:30am. The specific days and times of the school shows will be determined on opening due to schools booking throughout the school year.

Rehearsal Schedule:
January 3 7pm-10pm (First rehearsal and SSR Intro)
January 14-17 7pm-10pm
January 21-24 7pm-10pm
January 28-31 7pm-10pm
February 4-7 7pm-10pm (2.4 OFF)
Tech Week (February 11-15, 2018): Sunday-Thursday 7pm-10pm
*Rehearsals will mainly be in Redmond with a few in Seattle.
