Story So Far is a new musical (in workshop) that uses dark humor and folk-rock musicality to explore the functions and dysfunctions within a modern working class American family. The story follows Ashlee and Will Michaelson as they work through old traumas and memories, striving to hold together their family following the death of their father.
**Trigger Warning** Some of the materials will include: Substance abuse, domestic violence, and other instances of abuse or aggression.
The workshop of this new musical will be minimalist and intimate, consisting of a month of script workshop and music rehearsal that will culminate in a staged reading at the Pocket Theatre. This reading will include some minimal blocking/music and will be followed by a 45 minute talk back session with the audience.
Rehearsals start: Friday, November 17th
Performance date: Saturday, December 16th @ 8:30pm

Dusty: Male. A cousin adopted as a member of the family. Stands in the undefined region of kinship; is he more a cousin, brother, or uncle? Working class wisdom. Easygoing and open minded. Works for Bill.(Stage Combat) (25-35)
