Three actors are needed for a non-union film project. The actors will be filmed reading two original works of fiction, with minimal staging. One story concerns a young federal defense attorney who represents a man arrested for selling micro-doses of LSD to Silicon Valley programmers. The other story is about a middle-aged civil attorney who struggles with drug and alcohol issues. Actors must have excellent diction, have an ability to pronounce some easy legal terms, and must be able to read aloud large blocks of test.

This project is produced by Creative Legal Education, which makes online education videos for attorneys. The project will be filmed in Seattle during October, depending on schedules, and it is anticipated that the shoot will last one full day. Actors, however, should be prepared to film a second day, if needed. Compensation at the rate of $200 will be paid to each actor and actors should be available for two rehearsals before filming.

To audition, record yourself reading aloud two pages from a contemporary novel (anything published since 1975) of our own choosing. In your audition, please begin by slating your name, height, and agency (if applicable). Once recorded, upload your audition to Vimeo and send the link to With your Vimeo link, please also include your contact information, a headshot, and a current resume. Auditions must be submitted no later than September 11, 2017 and callbacks will occur, in person, during the week of September 11 and 18.
